Create a DAO - Quickstart Guide

Create Your First DAO in less than 69 Seconds

Prerequisites Checklist

  • Web3 wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.)

  • Make sure you're on Monad Testnet and have some MON for gas fees

  • Basic understanding of DAOs (optional - we'll guide you!)

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

  • Click "Connect Wallet" on the homepage

  • Choose your preferred wallet provider

  • Approve the connection

Step 2: Choose Your DAO Type

  • Token DAO: For ERC-20 token communities

  • NFT DAO: For ERC-721 NFT collections

  • Input the address of ERC-20 token or ERC721 NFT based on your DAO type (you can select create a new on if you want, we will handle it along with DAO creation and initial distribution for you)

Step 3: Configure Your DAO

  • Set your DAO name

  • Configure governance parameters

  • Choose token settings

Step 4: Launch & Govern 🎉

  • Review your configuration

  • Deploy your DAO

  • Start creating proposal

Important Notice

  • Once created, the DAO name and token address cannot be changed

  • Governance settings can be modified by DAO owner (in emergency cases) or through future proposals

  • You can configure time settings for each proposal in the future or use values that was set during DAO creation

  • Make sure the token address is correct before proceeding

  • You will become the initial OWNER of this DAO
